Summary:
UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE, THE COMPLIANCE AUDITOR CONDUCTS REGULAR AUDITS OF PHYSICIANS, PRACTICES, AND HOSPITAL DEPARTMENTS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICAPLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS. AUDITS AND MONITORS AREAS OF HEALTHCARE SYSTEM FOR COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNAL POLICIES. ASSISTS IN RECORD KEEPING FOR COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT. PERFORMS REQUIRED MONTHLY AND QUARTERLY REPORTS FOR COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT. ASSISTS IN PROVIDING COMPLIANCE EDUCATION TO HEALTHCARE STAFF. COLLABORATES WITH DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE AND OTHER DEPARTMENTS TO CONDUCT HIPAA INVESTIGATIONS.

Education: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED (REQUIRED). ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN HEALTHCARE OR RELATED FIELD (PREFERRED)
Experience: 1-3 YEARS OF RECENT HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE
