Corporate Compliance Director manages the compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices for an organization or business. Ensures that all activities follow regulatory requirements related to the governance of the organization as well as any industry-specific or location-specific laws. Being a Corporate Compliance Director oversees internal controls and auditing systems that monitor and report on regulated activities and processes. Implements risk-based compliance testing of existing procedures and controls to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. Additionally, Corporate Compliance Director evaluates and implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations. Delivers communication and training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Compliance Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. CTIIC Corporate Support Officer

  • Duties

    Performs a variety of administrative, support and management activities essential for day-to-day operations across CTIIC organizations and missions. Technical functions include: task management, records management, report controls, awards, timekeeping and related activities. Facilitates information sharing, storage, and retrieval and resolves administrative policies and processes. Assists organizational leaders with research identifying trends and areas of improvement. Other duties involve enterprise services functions including: event management, travel services, space management, processing IT hardware and software requirements, and CTIIC CAPCO control officer.

    Exercises judgment and applies administrative management principles, practices and concepts in direct support of the overall intelligence mission.

    Support programmatic initiatives and the daily operations of the organization and collaborate with office leadership to ensure mission is unimpeded.

    Support CTIIC personnel, training, budget, contract administration policies and procedures, as well as information technology, facilities, equipment, and logistics to foster successful achievement of the organization's mission.

    Support budget planning and execution, strategic resource planning, and budget decisions and serve as the alternate approving official for the office.

    Analyze customer requirements and future needs to determine solutions based on detailed understanding of organizational processes and customer needs; route customer to the appropriate point of contact.

    Facilitate human resources planning and personnel actions and work closely with ODNI/Human Resources (HR) to plan, implement, and monitor actions and new HR initiatives.

    Coordinate tasking responses, work activities, assignments, and projects internal to the organization, ensuring the effective completion of initiatives and requirements.

    Support organizational action processing, standard operating procedures and processes, file maintenance and record-keeping, and morale, welfare, and recreation activities.

    Support corporate communications ensuring workforce awareness of CTIIC organizational programs, initiatives, requirements, training, and other opportunities; facilitate two-way communications between workforce and leadership.

    Liaise and maintain effective working relationships with other ODNI staff, and within CTIIC to address issues that emerge.

    Execute internal business management processes for the organization; ensure management and staff are kept abreast of emerging developments.

    Provide oversight in the monitoring, identification, and resolution of day-to-day CTIIC facilities issues.

    Manage the inventory and logistics procurement process, anticipate stock and supply needs, develop contingency plans, ensure operational readiness through management of contingency materials, and manage the transportation of materials.

    May request supplies, equipment, and services for the office; maintains and monitors expenditures for all supplies, equipment, and impress funds.

    Duties may include supporting and or serving as a Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR).

    Performs other duties, as assigned.

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the United States
    • Appointment is subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI)
    • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
    • A two-year trial period is required for all new permanent appointments to the ODNI.

    Qualifications

    Mandatory Requirements:

    At least five years of intelligence community experience and/or two years experience performing human resources or logistics responsibilities.

    Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member, and proactively manage competing priorities under strict deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    Demonstrated strategic and tactical planning, critical thinking, and analytical skills in order to propose innovative solutions and implement change with resourcefulness and creativity.

    Demonstrated ability to coordinate, network, and communicate across the ODNI, IC and U.S. Government agencies.

    Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex information to audiences of all levels including private industry, and academia.

    Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teams, build and sustain professional relationships, exert influence effectively at all levels across the IC.

    Knowledge and experience with resource planning, budget forecasting, and execution.

    Demonstrated ability to establish goals, manage workflow, and identify professional development needs for employees.

    Demonstrated knowledge of the ODNI structure, policies, and procedures as well as the IC structure and member's roles and capabilities.

    Demonstrated ability of exemplary interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional networks across organizational boundaries to exert influence.

    Demonstrated teamwork skills and training consistent with valuing a workforce representing a wide spectrum of diverse backgrounds.

    Job Interview Travel: Candidates from outside the Washington, D.C., area may be selected for a telephone, teleconference, or in-person interview.

    Salary Determination:

    The ODNI uses a rank-in-person system in which rank is attached to GS employees on the basis of individual qualifications, experience, and performance.

    Individuals whose current GS grade is equivalent to the grade of the advertised position will retain their current grade and step.

    Individuals who transfer to the ODNI from a non-GS pay scale will have base pay converted to the appropriate GS grade and step as determined by the Director/ Human Resource Management.

    On occasional instances when a current federal civilian employee applies for an ODNI position that is a lower grade than his or her personal grade, the candidate's personal grade will be downgraded to the grade of the advertised ODNI position and pay will be set at the step that is closest to but not less than the employee's current annual base rate of pay, not to exceed the maximum rate (i.e., step 10) of the GS grade to which assigned.

    Relocation Expenses: For new ODNI employees, reimbursement for relocation is discretionary based on availability of funds.
