Additionally, CopyWriting Manager - Digital reviews and edits final products to add value and improve presentation. Collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Requires a bachelor's degree in english, communication, journalism. Typically reports to a director. The CopyWriting Manager - Digital manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a CopyWriting Manager - Digital typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Digital Media SpecialistThe Office of the Governor is seeking a highly motivated, digital savvy individual to join the Communications team as a Digital Media Specialist.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Produce, shoot and edit videos and audio recordings for use online and through online platforms and radio.
- Operate photography equipment both indoors and outdoors and touch up photos digitally under tight deadlines.
- Post content and perform basic maintenance on the Governor’s webpage using WordPress CMS.
- Design graphics for print and digital uses, such as one page flyers, website graphics, PowerPoint slides, and graphics for social media platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative software suites.
- Ability to post content and generate content ideas for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and similar social media channels.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress programming and development skills preferred.
- Live broadcast equipment operation knowledge and practical experience with tools like Livestream, Mevo, and Facebook Live preferred.
- Prior experience working with broadcast television operations and production preferred.
- Prior experience with email clients such as Constant Contact preferred.
- Must be available to travel with the Governor as needed, including to Juneau periodically during the legislative session
- Compensation based on experience
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in journalism or communications.
