    The Association of Women’s Business Centers (AWBC) is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1998. The AWBC works to secure economic justice and entrepreneurial opportunities for women by supporting and sustaining a national network of over 150 Women’s Business Centers (WBC’s) by:

    • Training and mentoring WBC leaders to expand organizational capacity and effectiveness.
    • Advocating on behalf of Women’s Business Centers to ensure that elected officials and stakeholders recognize and support the important and growing role of women-owned businesses in our economy and to sustain federal funding targeted specifically to women’s needs.
    • Working closely with the Small Business Administration (SBA) to improve processes and procedures to help WBCs function more efficiently and effectively.

    Job Summary:

    AWBC is seeking a passionate and dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing initiatives for AWBC and its HOPE2Women brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing our digital marketing strategies, primarily focusing on social media development and content creation, website content updates, blog posting, and other creative digital marketing efforts. This role is crucial in amplifying our mission, reaching new audiences, and engaging our community.

    The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the following:

    • Social Media Management: Develop and implement strategic social media plans across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tiktok), including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and analytics to expand reach and engagement.
    • Content Creation: Create compelling digital content, including blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and other digital media to effectively communicate the organization's mission and impact.
    • Website Management: Update and maintain the organization's wordpress website content, ensuring it is informative, engaging, and aligned with SEO best practices.
    • Digital Campaigns: Plan and execute creative digital marketing campaigns to promote the organization’s initiatives, events, and fundraising efforts, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
    • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts. Use data to refine and improve future campaigns and strategies.
    • Community Engagement: Foster and manage online communities, encouraging active participation and engagement among our supporters and network members.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with all members of the AWBC team, government affairs, board and committee members, and external stakeholders to ensure marketing strategies align with organizational goals and effectively reach target audiences.
    • Brand Partnership: Effectively manage and comply with branding requirements and standards of key national entrepreneurial resource partners, foundations, lenders, and other national brands

    Qualifications:

    • High-level knowledge of creation and maintenance of social media content, in particular Instagram and Tiktok
    • Experience in entrepreneurship, management, marketing, business administration or related field
    • 3 years’ experience digital marketing
    • Tech savvy- proficiency with google suite, canva, social media, CRM systems
    • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to create project plans and work a project from start to finish
    • Enjoys making projects run smoothly, on time and on budget
    • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
    • Flexible schedule to work early mornings or evenings, if/when necessary
    • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time, if necessary
