We are currently seeking a full-time, in-office, versatile Copywriter with a passion for both product and marketing content creation to join our dynamic team here in our beautiful San Pedro, CA Office (with 1 WFH day). In this role, you will collaborate with product development to craft engaging marketing claims, messages, and content for our diverse range of health and wellness products. Additionally, you will partner cross-functionally with various teams including PR, channel marketing, paid media, social media, and web to develop compelling content and creative assets. This exciting position requires a blend of creative storytelling, strategic thinking, and a strong understanding of both marketing and product development.

This position will be a member of the Marketing team under the VP of Marketing and report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective brand communication across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create compelling copy for Amazon A content, product detail pages (PDPs), paid media ads, social media posts, blogs, video scripts, and email marketing campaigns to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop messaging and creative assets for brand campaigns and new product launches.
• Ensure that all product messaging aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates key selling points to consumers.
• Collaborate with product development to develop clear and persuasive marketing claims and messaging that accurately represent our products' benefits.
• Work closely with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all seals and badges comply with industry regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in the development of product-related content based on scientific research and studies to support marketing claims and messaging.
• Translate complex scientific information into clear and accessible language for consumers.
• Lead copy direction for the website to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
• Lead copy for banners, site ads, and landing page / homepage layouts for e-commerce marketplaces to drive traffic and sales.
• Collaborate with the wholesale team to develop marketing materials and assets to support sell-through initiatives with retail partners.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Proven experience as a copywriter or creative marketer, preferably in the health and wellness , beauty industries, or related field.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills with a passion for storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with web design principles.
• Thorough understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines governing product claims in the health and wellness industry.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Shopify) is a plus.

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
