CopyWriter - Digital jobs in Ohio

Compensation Range: $40 - 45 per hour

Cella has partnered with a widely known manufacturer in their search for a Sustainability Writer to join their team for an ongoing contract role!

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of crafting engaging copy that aligns with company initiatives. This individual should thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality content across various platforms.

Candidates must be able to report onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays in Toledo, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of our brand's voice, tone, and style guides to effectively communicate sustainability initiatives.
• Translate business priorities and messaging direction into compelling reports and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate creative solutions that meet business objectives.
• Engage with senior and executive-level leadership to incorporate feedback and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful content.
• Maintain attention to detail, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Work independently while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field.
• 6 years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house enterprise setting.
• Proficiency in APA standards and ESG principles.
• Proven experience working on high-profile reports, ebooks, and other content.
• Strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
