Qualifications:

Role Overview:

The Clinical Informatics Specialist plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare operations and technology. They are responsible for ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions within the healthcare environment, supporting clinicians, and driving process improvements. Responsibilities:

• Training and Support:
  
  
  • Train end-users (clinicians, nurses, etc.) on technology systems and applications.

  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing questions and issues related to technology.

  • Collaborate with operational leaders to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.

  • Assist in the development of training materials and documentation.
  
  

• Change Management:
  
  
  • Participate in all stages of technology changes, from specification development to implementation.

  • Work with requesters to understand how technology functions should align with organizational objectives.

  • Translate organizational needs into functional requirements for technology solutions.

  • Collaborate with analysts responsible for system configuration and validation.

  • Develop communication and training plans for technology changes.

  • Support clinicians through change management processes.

  • Participate in project-related activities, including kickoff, workflow analysis, training, and regulatory compliance.
