Reports to Director of Communications & Community Engagement

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

The following responsibilities are essential functions, plus any other duties that may be required by the employer. Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the building principal or other administrator.

• Design and develop creative and attractive digital content to share with PTS stakeholders in a variety of outlets, including our communication platform, website, and social media outlets.
• Use a variety of media, to include video, audio, and photo, to generate public interest and share strategic messaging with PTS stakeholders.
• Update and maintain the PTS website to share information with targeted demographics.
• Support PTS schools and departments by creating branded marketing materials for special programs, employee recruitment, family/staff tutorials, or general signage as assigned by the department director.
• Provide technology support for the district’s parent communications platform, website, and other platforms as assigned by the department director.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

Candidates must have obtained a high school diploma or higher. An associate’s degree or higher in public relations, marketing, journalism, photography, or graphic design is preferred. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in graphic design, photography, website design/management, and/or videography. Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, G-Guite, Microsoft Office, website CMS, SIS, and/or mass communication platforms is a plus but not required.
