We have a 3 month contract opportunity for a Clinical Informatics Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. This role requires up to 50% travel throughout Indiana.

Qualifications:

Role Overview:

The Clinical Informatics Specialist plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare operations and technology. Responsibilities:

• Training and Support:
  
  
  • Train end-users (clinicians, nurses, etc.) on technology systems and applications.

  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing questions and issues related to technology.

  • Collaborate with operational leaders to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.

  • Assist in the development of training materials and documentation.
  
  

• Change Management:
  
  
  • Participate in all stages of technology changes, from specification development to implementation.

  • Work with requesters to understand how technology functions should align with organizational objectives.

  • Translate organizational needs into functional requirements for technology solutions.

  • Collaborate with analysts responsible for system configuration and validation.

  • Develop communication and training plans for technology changes.

  • Support clinicians through change management processes.

  • Participate in project-related activities, including kickoff, workflow analysis, training, and regulatory compliance.
