The Maine Trust for Local News, part of the nonprofit National Trust for Local News, is hiring a full-time copy editor/web producer for the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel newspapers and Centralmaine.com. This person will be responsible for creating crisp and engaging page designs; copy editing stories; writing accurate and compelling headlines; curating content for the website and promoting that content on social media channels; and setting and changing priorities when handling breaking news and making deadline.
The Maine Trust for Local News is owned by the National Trust for Local News, a national nonprofit dedicated to conserving, transforming and sustaining local news organizations.

Qualifications
