Flour Power Cooking Studios: Denton is currently seeking energetic, hands-on, and outgoing assistant instructors to join our team for the summer. (This Assistant Instructor position is specifically designed for high school students. All other applicants should apply for our Instructor position.) Availability sought for weekdays, daytime and evening, and weekends.

Instructor Requirements:

• Willing to work patiently and hands-on with children.
• Ability to communicate clearly, with the children, their parents and caregivers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to deliver a fun and positive experience for children.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Cooking and baking knowledge preferred.
• Possess an energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude with the children, other staff members, and customers.
• Ability to multi-task and move quickly.
• Ability to work in a small team environment.
• Flexibility to work weekday, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.

Job Duties:

• Assist with summer camps
• Assist with weekly summer classes
• Assist with children's birthday parties
• Assist with special events
• Ensure the studio is clean, maintained, and operationally sound at all times
• Maintain proper food safety and hand-washing procedures
• Ensure all children are safe and engaged
• Communicate clearly with children, parents/caregivers, co-workers, and management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
