Cook - Institution follows a menu to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables and other foods for service in an institutional setting. May create and update menus, help with grocery items inventory and kitchen, equipment maintenance. Being a Cook - Institution may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Cook - Institution works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Weekend Supervisor

  • Responsibilities:
    - Oversee and manage the operations of the weekend shift
    - Supervise and provide guidance to a team of employees
    - Ensure smooth and efficient workflow during the weekend
    - Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to staff members
    - Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
    - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional manner
    - Maintain a clean and organized work environment

    -Fill in positions to cover calloutsFill in positions to cover call outs
    - Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to achieve department goals

    Skills:
    - Strong organizational skills to effectively manage the weekend shift
    - Previous experience as a supervisor preferred
    - Excellent communication skills to interact with employees and customers
    - Culinary knowledge and background
    - Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
    - Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
