Bath Savings is looking to add an experienced, customer-focused lending professional to our exceptional team.

Under the general direction of the Senior Vice President you will be responsible for the origination of new mortgage and consumer loans within the Bank’s market area. In conjunction with your responsibilities you are expected to understand the requirements of the retail loan functions including: origination, underwriting, compliance, and collections. You will be responsible for being familiar with the Bank’s Annual Business Plan and assist in execution of the Plan while ensuring that loan transactions meet the requirements set forth in the Bank’s Loan Policy.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a financial institution with consumer and mortgage originations
• Exceptional customer service and sales skills
• Knowledge of regulations applicable to lending
• Organized, attention to detail, accuracy and able to multitask
• Effective written and communication skills
• Motivated and self-driven

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
