Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare the monthly financial statements.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage the preparation of timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and act as a primary contact for external auditors.
- Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenues.
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller position within the manufacturing sector.
- Understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Proven leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.
