    Create, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing systems, reducing costs while maintaining standards of operations.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Review production equipment, hardware, and tooling; makes recommendations for repairs or replacements.
    • Oversees in the development of new processes, methods and production controls.
    • Identifies and assesses various problems and departures from established manufacturing standards and best practices; researches and recommends solutions.
    • Helps with installation of new equipment and ensures operation set up is done correctly and employees properly trained.
    • Maintains knowledge of new and developing manufacturing technology, equipment, and applications; applies this knowledge to recommend and implement new technology and processes.

     


    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    Competency Statement(s)

    • High level of computer knowledge/experience using Microsoft Windows format in order to adapt to other programs used for this position
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong mechanical skills required.
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand and/or sit for long periods of time
    • Ability to work Necessary overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.
    • 2-5 years EMS experience in preferred.
    • Knowledge of Wave Solder operations preferred.

    Education & Experience:  bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or 5-7 years' experience in EMS.   

    Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred.
