The Inside Sales Coordinator contributes to the achievement of sales targets by supporting the sales team, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining good customer relationships. The Inside Sales Coordinator’s responsibilities include coordinating with other departments, ensuring the timely and accurate input of purchase orders, handling administrative duties and various support activities for the entire organization, and promoting sales and customer satisfaction. The person in this role must be able to present a pleasant, professional, and competent image to both external and internal customers.

Job Responsibilities (E=Essential Function)
The duties and responsibilities of the Inside Sales Coordinator include, but are not limited to the following:
E: Communicate directly with customers to provide pricing, part numbers and product availability, and to receive orders for Monarch Instrument products.
E: Non-quota-based research and prospecting.
E: Proactively follow-up on outstanding / open quotes to update them and bring them to closure.
E: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up.
E: Maintain and update customer databases constantly to ensure correct information in the respective company MRP/ERP/CRM systems.
E: Help minimize administrative demand on Sales Engineers and/or the Sales Manager by:
o Maintaining pricing updates and current price lists.
o Updating and maintaining Global Distributor, Catalog, OEM & Private Label list and databases.
o Facilitating sales demo pool.
o New customer processing.
o Being the primary contact for assigned Distributor inquiries.
· Inform customers when changes to promised delivery agreements occur (i.e. late shipments, back-order status, etc.)
· Keep manager informed of any problems that arise with shipping or order entry errors.
· Review orders received for correct pricing, part numbers, discounts and/or commissions, shipping charges/requirements, and payment terms. Interface directly with Materials and Production.
· Expedite orders as required.
· Interface with Accounts Receivable to verify order related credit checks.
· Perform Customer Service and Receptionist duties, as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
