Pay Rate:
$17.50hr
Essential Functions
Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.
Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.
Communicates with warehousing to ensure on time delivery of kits and shortage fulfillment –replenishment needs.
Communicates with purchasing to generate shortage reports with up to date arrival estimates
Communicates with sheet metal/powder coating to fulfil panel/part needs
Expedites transfer of materials from stock area to production areas.
Examines material received, verifies parts numbers, and checks discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts.
Completes minor repairs to facilitate project completion.
All other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
This position will require standing, stooping, bending, and limited lifting of up to 50lbs.
Work Environment
Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, noise intensity level, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts.
