We are recruiting for a Construction Superintendent/SSHO to work on Federal construction Projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with management to develop and update emergency response plans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations.
- Monitor the use of construction management software for compliance management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Familiarity with construction management software for compliance management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
OSHA highly desired but not required
