Contracts Administrator - Construction jobs in Mcallen, TX

Applicants for this Entry Level Accountant position will have the opportunity to work closely with our accounting team and gain experience. An Entry Level Accountant will assist our accounting team with a variety of office duties, including data entry, answering phones, and preparing reports.

Responsibilities:

• Follow organizational policies and procedures and comply with government regulations.
• Perform statistical analysis of data.
• Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets.
• Perform critical thinking tasks such as reasoning, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpreting information from written policies and procedures.
• Record financial transactions in the general ledger and ensure that all entries are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the accuracy of the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of accounting procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information for analysis and reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and answering questions related to accounting procedures.
• Prepares all bank deposits.
• Maintaining accounting records and filing documents
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
