    Mission:

    Quantum is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator in our HUNTSVILLE, AL corporate office.

    Responsibilities:

    Ideal candidate will require knowledge and experience with government contract administration principles and practices. Individual will oversee contract performance by monitoring budget, compliance documents, schedules, and deliverables. Responsible for all activities concerning contract sales of services, labor, equipment, materials and products for Fixed Price, IDIQ, and Cost-Plus contracts in accordance with the FAR/DFAR.

    • Administer all aspects of contracts (including subcontracts), drafting of agreements, pricing, modifications, task order awards and ETCs. Provide timely responses and be able to balance priorities.
    • Requests or approves amendments/modifications or extensions of contracts.
    • Advises various departments of contractual rights and obligations.
    • Compiles data for preparing bid estimates; establish and maintain complete, well-organized files.
    • Coordinates implementation of contract requirements to insure fulfillment/requirements.
    • Examines estimates of labor, materials, equipment, travel and other costs, performance requirements and delivery schedules to insure completeness and accuracy.
    • Prepare and submit contractual correspondence, notifications, and change proposals.
    • Support kick-off and close-out activities
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a Business Administration, Acquisition, Supply Chain Mgt., or a related field.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel. Experience with Costpoint is preferred.
    • Excellent communication (oral and written) with ability to communicate with all levels of management including internal and external customers excellent organization skills and detail oriented.
    • Must be a team player, detail oriented, positive attitude, and ability work at times with minimal supervision and produce result.
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Security Clearance if/when required.

    Desired/Preferred Skills

    • Working knowledge of CostPoint/Deltek.
