Contracts Administration Manager prepares and administers bids, proposals, and commercial and government contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Manages the contracts administration staff and guides compliance with complex contractual and regulatory requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Manager negotiates with suppliers, partners, or customers. Ensures contracts are administered and monitored to maintain compliance with the terms of agreements. Additionally, Contracts Administration Manager has a strong understanding of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to a director. The Contracts Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Contracts Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Overview:
    We are looking for a Site Superintendent with a strong background in construction, particularly in managing government contract projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site activities, ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Site Superintendent will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, while also fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
     
    Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
     
    Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, laborers, and other on-site personnel, fostering teamwork and efficient project execution.
     
    Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure that the construction work meets or exceeds industry and client standards.
     
    Government Contract Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of government contracts, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure that all project activities align with contractual obligations.
     
    Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring project profitability.
     
    Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
     
    Documentation: Keep detailed records of project progress, daily reports, and any deviations from plans, and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
     
    Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction, proactively addressing delays or disruptions.
     
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience as a Site Superintendent in construction, with a focus on government contracts.
    • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and blueprints.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications (preferred).
