Contracts Administration Director is responsible for all activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. The Contracts Administration Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Contracts Administration Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Day to Day Duties:
    • Under the general supervision of the Manager, Contracts Administration, the Contracts Administration Specialist is responsible for the coordination of general daily functions within the Contracts Administration unit.
    • Responsibilities include working closely with Legal Counsel on contractual changes and contract template changes.
    • Complete understanding of NCQA standards and regulations by CMS, DHCS and DMHC in relations to Contract requirements and compliance.
    • Support Contract Management with streamlining any operational processes/workflows between Contracts CORE.
    • Collaborate with department management regarding the development, implementation, tracking, and feedback components related to quality standards.
    • The Contracts Administration Specialist is responsible for supporting the Chief Network Officer, Director of Provider Contracting, and the Contract Administration Manager in all required or directed activities
    Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2 years of experience working with provider contracts
    • Strong tenure (1-2 years in prior roles)
    • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office -Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, ability to type 45 words per minute
    • Soft Skills: Understanding of and sensitivity to multi-cultural community, organized, excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, problem solving skills 
    Preferred but not required:
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
    • Managed Care Organization experience

    Covid-19 vaccination: Not required
    Length of Assignment:  6 months contract, eligible to apply to internal positions after contract is complete
    Compensation Notes: 22 to 23.13/hour
    Shift: M-F, 8AM to 5PM PST
    Start Date: Will confirm once cleared from onboarding process

    Location:   Hybrid setup. After training, you will work from home 2 days a week and in-office 3 days a week. Office is located at 10801 6th St STE 120, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730
