Contracts Administration Clerk prepares, maintains, and administers contract documents according to policies and regulations. Verifies that all required and associated materials in contract packages are in place. Being a Contracts Administration Clerk follows contract monitoring procedures to ensure documents are up to date and that contractual obligations are in compliance. Ensures that contract renewal dates are tracked and that applicable renewal documents are generated and processed. Additionally, Contracts Administration Clerk maintains contract records used to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contracts Administration Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.   • This position supports government contracts and monitors various contracts currently in place. Reviews various contracts and pricing scales necessary to remain compliant and act as a liaison to the sales team with sales history and ongoing transaction details. Build and develop reporting requirement to the US government based on sales tracing reports as required by contract. Must be able to present clear communications and recommendations to executive staff members.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Validate all contract prices, sales transactions, and chargeback debts and filing.
    • Manage and maintain all contract sales history filed by third party wholesalers and prime vendors.
    • Review agreements and other required documentation required to support contracts.
    • Review and understand Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Code of Federal Regulations as it pertains to current federal contract and Cost Accounting Standards.
    • Compile for managements approval monthly and quarterly reports necessary to support contract activities and federal filing and fee requirements.
    • Participate in customer support; make recommendations to management and help build strategic objectives.
    • Participate in post-award communications with the customer contract personnel on all contract matters.
    • Follow company policies and procedures.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in business management accounting or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of experience contracts management OR Associate degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in contracts management.
    • Federal Government and/or DoD contract experience is a plus.

    Skills and Certifications

    • Strong Excel Experience
    • Data Base Management Skills is a plus
    • Base knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation
    • Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • CFCM is a plus.
