Contracts Manager
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company is looking for a Manager, Contracts to join our team. In this position, the successful candidate will provide legal, contract negotiation, administrative and some commercial support to ASSA ABLOY’s Business Segment Perimeter Security. He or she will be an energetic person, assertive and possess either a solid background in commercial, construction and procurement law or a strong desire to learn.
What you will be doing:
Respond directly to customers on contractual requests where pre-approved responses are applicable.
Oversee the review of draft contractual documents, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping
Communicate internal contract review status periodically, and to customers (as needed/required)
Completing vendor packets and other forms or paperwork required by customers to establish a business relationship
Flow down/distribute executed contractual clauses and amendments to the appropriate internal departments for implementation
• Take the lead in contract negotiations
• Prepare amendments
• Own the contracting process from review to execution to expiry to renewa
The skills and experience you need:
Minimum 3-5 years of applicable experience
Construction documents experience preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
