    We’re looking for an experienced Training Content Creator and Editor who will handle large scale content generation for new trainings, training content upgrades and interactive training video scripts. This role is responsible for content curation and strategy to ensure content catalog is relevant, easy to consume, valuable, and aligned with our peculiar style. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented, cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will be excited about delivering high-quality content, along with an ability to review the content and scripts for any defects and build a perspective for when content should be delivered through interactive training components. The ideal candidate must possess excellent writing, editing, time-management and communication skills. You'll bring a critical eye to the content creation process and own content projects from start to finish, all while understanding tradeoffs, mitigating risks and measuring impact.

    Key job responsibilities
    - Create original and engaging training content for multiple personas; perform quality checks on existing content
    - Think big about the needs of our customers, obsess over our trainees’ experience and help build a engaging training content that will delight our customers
    - Be the trainee experience advocate, representing this and protecting this through all training strategies
    - Manage the lifecycle of a complex curriculum or part of a solution portfolio with considerable impact.
    - Pilot and build new training content approaches to deliver options for new hires and continuing education for employees
    - Communicate customer requirements and provide input to learning designers and future learning product direction, closing the feedback loop from users to training owners
    - Understand at deep level adoption challenges and help incorporate learnings for future builds/releases
    - Build key programs and campaigns, partnering with your stakeholders to increase awareness, adoption, and demand for training products
    - Navigate partner teams in Amazon and identify opportunities for partnership to create better trainee experience
    - Manage complexity and resources by systematically prioritizing multiple streams of work
    - Develop an overall content strategy and roadmap for training updates and maintenance

    A day in the life
    In a typical day as the Sr. Training Content Specialist, you will partner with multiple teams across Amazon. You will have the opportunity to define and drive the content strategy for onboarding and continuing education training products for interviewers, recruiters and Bar Raisers. You will also partner with third-party vendors as necessary to create interactive training content scripts. You will create the most compelling content to help learners understand the concepts and value propositions and build the right trainings to drive customer engagement and adoption. Above all, you are a customer-obsessed owner who can operate with empathy for others while driving influence in an ambiguous environment.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    - 6 years of experience in creating training content: digital, written, video or visual materials
    - Prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams (including third-party) in support of business goals
    - Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation and style
    - Relentlessly high standards and excellent attention to detail
    - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively to escalate any roadblocks
    - Bachelor’s degree (Communications, Marketing or related field is a plus)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    - Experience as a Content Editor, Copywriter, or large-scale communications specialist
    - Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing cross-functional teams
    - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $144,000/year in our highest geographic market.
