The Marketing and Social Media Content Specialist is responsible for creating social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of the company’s social media properties and will work closely with other digital marketing efforts to generate a social media marketing strategy that will promote customer engagement and brand awareness. Your passion for social media as a communications tool will result in the adoption and implementation of social media best practices across all social media channels.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player. You will be an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve the company’s social media practices over time.

• Develop Content for Social Media and digital platforms included but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, and Twitter.
• Have a pulse on beauty/fashion industry trends
• Development and implementation of content for brand’s social media channels and all digital communications
• Responsible for handling and guiding all photoshoots in order to ensure desired content is captured along with post photoshoot direction
• Post, plan, and maintain engaging content on our numerous social channels
• Monitor activity on Social Media sites; engage in a positive manner and edit when needed.
• Perform daily community management on all social media platforms by engaging with followers, commenting on tagged posts, and answering inbound inquiries in a timely manner.
• Develop an engaging and brand-aligned content calendar every month, ensuring content schedule deadlines are met.
• Create “in-the-moment” content to compliment pre-planned content
• Implement targeted paid digital campaigns, monitor results, and provide recommendations based on results.
• Monitor brand analytics across numerous channels and provide reports to creative, marketing and brand managers on a weekly basis.
• Establish and maintain relationships with field educators and brand ambassadors.
• Responsible for increasing social media following an engagement.

• Assist in all marketing needs, as requested by Marketing Manager and Brand Manager

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• 2 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
• Experience using various analytics software.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Excel
• Klaviyo Experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze Google Analytics preferred.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
