    Position Summary

    As a Content Specialist at Steffes, you will leverage your expertise to attract and engage internal and external stakeholders through strategic and creative content. Your role involves refining, enhancing, and driving brand awareness, product adoption, and use. The primary focus will be on creating and implementing a comprehensive plan for content production, covering curation, design, production, analysis, management, and measurement. You will establish the organization's editorial voice and determine content needs, channel selection, and distribution.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop engaging content for websites, brochures, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, presentations, leadership messages, and other relevant communication channels.

    Build strong relationships with internal teams to gain a deep understanding of target audiences, ensuring content resonates effectively.

    Craft content based on thorough research, organization of facts, or through conducting insightful interviews on assigned topics.

    Conduct content audits to evaluate the performance of existing content and update it as necessary to maintain relevance.

    Recommend appropriate media channels for content delivery based on industry trends and audience preferences.

    Ensure all content is optimized for search engine optimization (SEO), incorporating strategic keyword placement to enhance visibility.

    Contribute to the development, management, and execution of marketing efforts, including email marketing, direct mail, interactive content, webinars, and advertising campaigns.

    Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, providing support in communications, grammar, editing, and marketing.

    Create, adjust, and maintain a calendar of project deadlines and content launch dates to ensure timely and organized content delivery.

    Assist in analyzing market data, including campaign results, online traffic, and various marketing programs, to evaluate effectiveness and contribute insights for future strategies.

    Support internal and external programs, events, and other initiatives to enhance overall marketing effectiveness.

    Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner as to collaborate with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.

    Help the company meet its quality and safety objectives.

    Complete other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
    • Minimum of three years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or a similar role.
    • Self-motivated, positive, and creative thinker with strong multitasking abilities and time management skills.
    • Excellent English skills, demonstrated through diverse writing styles and tones with accurate spelling and grammar (samples appreciated).
    • Proficiency in various content platforms, including social media, blogs, and print media.
    • Understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC.
    • Experience in content and layout design, including proficiency in Adobe InDesign or similar tools.

    Physical Demands of Position

    • This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree.
    • Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 20 pounds.
    • Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs.
    • Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
    • Handling, feeling, and gripping is required for some activities.
    • Visual acuity is required to inspect work completed.
    • This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions.
