Researches, coordinates, edits, and integrates the work of writers and designers to produce layouts that meet established branding and style guidelines. Being a Content Specialist, Sr. organizes content in a way that makes sense/is most useful for target customers. Stays up-to-date on best practices and make recommendations for content strategy. Additionally, Content Specialist, Sr. analyzes content needs and studies content consumption data to optimize content. Identifies and tracks metrics to measure the success of content curation efforts. Develops a schedule for updates, archiving, and ongoing production of content. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Content Specialist, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Summary:

    The Visual Content Specialist- Furniture manages all visual sales assets for Crosley Furniture, including, but not limited to, imagery, enhanced retailer content, spec sheets, dims sheets, website graphics, digital content, and additional marketing collateral. In addition to maintaining visual brand standards, the visual content specialist will own the creation, improvement, and storage of all visual content for Crosley Furniture. The Visual content specialist will drive collaboration with multiple internal and external teams to produce high-quality visual assets while minimizing turnaround time. The Visual content specialist must be extremely organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to self-manage priorities among a variety of projects occurring simultaneously while ensuring a high level of accuracy. This is a perfect role for someone with graphic design skills who is also interested in managing our marketing asset production process.


    Supervisory Responsibilities: None


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Visual Brand Standards
    • Creates, revises, and maintains Crosley Furniture visual brand standards
    • Guides visual styling best practices, including look, feel, and propping of visual assets
    • Stays up to date on asset formats and sizes needed for retailer partners
    • Imagery
    • Prepares shot guides, and owns communication with photo studios
    • Manages sample list in partnership with PD manager
    • Partners with PD and content specialist to ensure that all product features/benefits are highlighted in images
    • Provides art direction, including detailed feedback, to photo studio regarding look, feel, and propping of images
    • Uses PhotoShop to edit Imagery as necessary
    • Ensures that all requested shots are completed by Photo Studio and named correctly
    • Archives imagery for discontinued products on a quarterly basis
    • Enhanced Retailer Content
    • Partners with content specialist to develop enhanced content and/or brand pages for key retail partners, such as Amazon A Content and Waymore Content
    • Dimension Images & Spec Sheets
    • Responsible for creating/updating dimension images & PDFs
    • Responsible for creating/updating spec sheets
    • Crosley Website/Digital Marketing
    • Ensures website imagery remains up to date using content management tools
    • Partners with digital marketing manager to enhance design of website to reflect visual brand standards 
    • Partners with digital marketing team to create ongoing promotional assets (examples: email headers, website banners, social media content, etc.)
    • Manages staging and setting live web banners for each promotion in partnership with digital marketing manager using web content staging software
    • Storage
    • Ensures all marketing assets are named accurately and uploaded to Crosley systems in the correct locations
    • Maintains storage of images (folders on V drive, cheese), and re-names/sizes/formats images as needed
    • Partners with Sales and IT to enhance tools used to store and distribute visual assets
    • Additional Marketing AssetsMaintains Branded PowerPoint Template
    • Updates collection and category pages on a quarterly basis
    • Ensures overall branded template remains updated with overall furniture visual brand standards
    • Designs Showroom Marketing Assets- Partners with sales, PD, and content specialist to design price cards, signage, collection books, misc. handouts, and other marketing assets that reflect visual brand standards
    • Develops additional marketing content, including, but not limited to physical handouts and promotional materials
    • Other Responsibilities
    • Partners with sales team to collect feedback on retail partner visual content needs and drives enhancements accordingly
    • Responds to task and project requests in a timely manner
    • Self-manages tasks and project to-do list
    • Adheres to all project deadlines
    • Assists with ad hoc projects requested as necessary



    Requirements

    Required Skills/Abilities: 

    • Outstanding visual communication skills
    • Experience with photography styling
    • Experience in graphic design
    • Superb organization skills
    • High sense of urgency and initiative
    • Process-oriented, with ability to add structure to chaos
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to move quickly with accuracy
    • Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple tasks
    • Pro-active nature, with a willingness to challenge existing processes and propose new solutions
    • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively  
    • Proficient in creative software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator etc.)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3 years experience
    • Graphic design

    Physical Requirements: 

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Visual acuity 
    • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
