Content Specialist, Sr. jobs in Hammond, IN

GreatNews.Life, publishers of Valpo.Life, Portage.Life, LaPorteCounty.Life, and NWI.Life, is seeking a videographer & video editor to join the team at the company's Valparaiso office.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• On-site and off-site filming for projects related to clients and/or events
• Assist in pre-production, production, and post-production as needed
• Editing video content for long and short form video
• Keep all video files organized and properly titled
• Accepts delegated video tasks and edits
• Management of all video equipment pre-production, production, and post-production
• Management of audio for best results
• Knowledge of social media video styles

• Energetic, with a self-starter mindset
• The ability to follow directions, think on your feet, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to take constructive criticism
• Detail-oriented
• Passionate and enthusiastic about his/her work
• Flexibility in a role that is consistently changing, ability to work on occasional nights and weekends
• Solid understanding of DSLR cameras and a variety of video equipment required
• Degree in video editing is preferred
• Knowledge of WeVideo
• Knowledge of Canva
• Knowledge of social media video styles
