Job Summary/Description:

WLBT is seeking a creative digital content producer to help produce content for our already dominant digital platforms. The candidate will pitch and write stories for the WLBT website and app, along with posting to the station's social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and have a good understanding of social media.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

- Write content for the WLBT website and app
- Share content to social media platforms
- Pitch stories daily in editorial meetings
- Assist with calling sources for information on stories

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Must be a strong writer with good news judgment
- Must work well under pressure
- Must have a good understanding of social media
- College degree in Journalism or related field preferred
