Head of Campaigns and Content Marketing

  • The Head of Campaigns and Content Marketing is a full-time, remote position at Snappy Kraken. Accessibility requirements are dependent on the role but could be expected during standard business hours Monday through Friday. This position is open to any candidates currently residing and eligible to legally work in the United States or Canada.


    The Purpose of This Role

    Snappy Kraken is an industry leader in helping financial advisors grow with content marketing. We need an experienced content marketing leader to help us direct our content strategy and processes across websites, SEO, content library, automated campaigns, text messaging, and content partnerships. They will be managing the teams and individuals for the full end-to-end process of content creation and implementation.

    This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

     

    Primary Role & Responsibilities

    • Ensure high timely quality content is produced by our writers, designers, and implementation team
    • Own the editorial calendar, setting themes, dates, and topics for campaigns
    • Designate, assign, and manage internal and 3rd party content creators
    • Own and ensure the style guide is being followed
    • Understand our company's product feature set and vision to increase the value of content to our advisors and stakeholders
    • Incorporate a deep understanding of the financial services industry, current events, and trends to ensure relevant, useful, and compelling content
    • Educating and collaborating with Customer Experience and Sales team to achieve high implementation and customer satisfaction
    • Auditing and maintaining our campaign catalog


    Primary Qualifications

    • 5 years of experience on an in-house creative team in a financial advisory business or at a financial marketing agency
    • 3 years of management experience with the proven ability to lead teammates to become their best selves
    • A proven portfolio of work featuring innovative and thoughtful marketing and success stories
    • Experience with leading end-to-end marketing multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, landing pages, social media, blog posts, text messaging)
    • A deep understanding of financial advisor practices, pain points, and marketing
    • Self-starter mentality, but ability to be a collaborative team player who allows others to level up their skills
    • Superior analytical skills and particular attention to detail with good business judgment and outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Proper remote working environment with stable high-speed internet, electricity, and appropriate working space
    • Tech-Savvy and highly comfortable working with remote communication software
