Content Manager - Web manages the overall curation activities required to produce content for web, mobile, and other platforms. Leads the research, coordination, and editorial work of curators and writers. Being a Content Manager - Web ensures that established branding and style guidelines are implemented correctly. Develops relationships with vendors and other sources needed to produce the quantity and quality of required content and negotiate terms and pricing. Additionally, Content Manager - Web designs methodologies used to analyze content consumption data and to define content needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Content Manager - Web manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Content Manager - Web typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     POSITION OVERVIEW
     
    AITC seeks a versatile Web Content Administrator to provide database, SharePoint, and Knowledge Management support.  
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
     
    • Design, build, implement, and maintain a knowledge management framework that provides end-users access to the organization’s intellectual capital.
    • Develop an understanding of the needs and requirements of information end-users.
    • Promote knowledge sharing between information owners/users through an organization’s operational processes and systems.
    • Provide recommendations on data structures and databases that ensure correct and quality production of reports/management information.
    • Manage the indexing/cataloguing, storage, and access of explicit organizational knowledge.
    • Construct access paths to suites of information (e.g., link pages) to facilitate access by end-users.
    • Additional duties as assigned.
     
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
     
    • 4-6 years practical field experience performing aforementioned responsibilities/duties
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
    • ITIL Foundations within 6 months
    • SECRET Clearance
    • Must be a US citizen
    • Able to work Overtime as required
    • Must be available to travel as required
    • One of the following:
    o CCNA-Security
    o CYSA
    o GICSP
    o GSEC
    o Security CE
    o CND
    o SSCP
     
    PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
     
    • Knowledge of the capabilities and functionality associated with various content creation technologies (e.g., wikis, social networking, blogs)
    • Knowledge of the capabilities and functionality associated with various technologies for organizing and managing information (e.g., databases, bookmarking engines).
    • Knowledge of the capabilities and functionality of various collaborative technologies (e.g., groupware, SharePoint)
    • Knowledge of an organization’s information classification program and procedures for information compromise
    • Knowledge of the principal methods, procedures, and techniques of gathering information and producing, reporting, and sharing information
    • Knowledge of Cloud-based knowledge management technologies and concepts related to security, governance, procurement, and administration
    • Knowledge of data classification standards and methodologies based on sensitivity and other risk factors
     
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
     
    • Predominantly indoors in normal office environment
    • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach
    • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
    • May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time
    • Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
    • Must have visual acuity
    • Must be able to lift up-to 10 pounds
