The Web and Content Designer is responsible for creating visual communications across print and online channels, including layouts, graphics and logos. You will shape the visual aspects of brochures, emails, websites, signage, social media, direct mail, flyers and more, while leveraging brand standards. Your designs should reflect a high degree of creativity, technical expertise and accuracy to maximize visual communications. The ideal candidate should have strong sense of visual design, be able to translate requirements into creative executions and work collaboratively as part of the team. Your goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.
What will you be doing?
- Develop print and digital communications to support written messaging with a high level of creativity, technical expertise and accuracy. This includes developing layouts for a variety of offline (brochures, flyers, etc.) and online (website, email, social) channels, as well as illustrations and logos.
- Review design requirements, conceptualize visuals, present ideas and work alongside copywriters to produce final design.
- Review and interpret feedback to revise designs.
- Build and manage website content within a secure CMS interface including ecommerce cart promotions.
- Assist with customer newsletters and email campaigns using company email software according to the monthly marketing plan.
- Develop clear and compelling content that adheres to required branding and style guidelines for social media and manage social media channels.
- Assist with internal communications by posting content on company software.
- Create designs that support brand while creating a compelling call to action.
What we need from you?
Preferred Job Requirements
- Proven graphic design experience; a strong portfolio of layouts and other designs.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies.
- Demonstrated history and documented success with website design, especially CMS platforms and email automation software.
- B2B experience.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with animation / animated graphics and/or video editing a plus.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field or the equivalent in related work experience.
- Five to seven years of experience with print and digital design.
- Proficiency in Adobe creative suite (specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) and other visual design tools.
- Good understanding of content management systems.
