Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) supervises contact center agents that make and receive calls focused on selling and promoting products or services. Monitors and evaluates interactions, workflow, and metrics to meet performance standards and sales targets. Being a Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) coaches agents in best practices to respond to customer inquiries using scripts, dialogues, or talking points and how to identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services. Ensures that routine service requests are processed or redirected correctly. Additionally, Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) responds to and resolves escalated issues or transfers complex requests to appropriate support teams. Prepares staff work schedules to ensure coverage and coordinate training. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Tuff Shed is recruiting for an independent sales professional to be a Brand Ambassador working closely with our Home Depot partners and customers. We offer comprehensive training and a base commission compensation plan. You will be responsible Tuff Shed sales at the Valparaiso Home Depot location- and you will receive commission on all sales made at this location.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?- Competitive compensation program with expected earnings ranging between $55,000 and $60,000 in the first year and the expectation to exceed $65,000 in the second year. This is an hourly commission role.

- Self-direction and the ability to work independently and build relationships
- Customer service experience is a big plus
- Sales experience preferred, including direct sales, internet, or phone sales
- A passion for the home improvement industry and the drive to motivate others
- Enjoy training others and communicating product knowledge
- Ability to listen to customers and answer their needs
- Proven computer skills and the aptitude to learn new software such as CRM
Tuff Shed's Partnership with Home Depot- Tuff Shed has an agreement with Home Depot (HD). As a Selling Center Design Specialist (SCDS), you will be the liaison between HD, its customers, and Tuff Shed. You will work directly with the HD Store and its Associates onsite, answering questions about Tuff Shed and assisting in making sales.
- The SDCS also receives sales leads from a number of sources, including the Tuff Shed National Call Center, HD, and from customers directly. Additionally, you will participate in weekend events (four per month) with the opportunity to showcase and sell our products.
- Current valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
- Satisfactory drug screening
