JOB SUMMARY:
The Nurse Manager will oversee the Staffing Resource Pool (float pool) and scheduling. The Nurse Manager of the staffing resource Pool oversees the staffing resource pool and scheduling staff for the whole facility. The Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Nursing at Levindale Hospital.
The Staffing Resource Pool consists of nurses and GNAs, and is a designated supplemental staffing pool where staff will float across various units at Levindale.
The Nurse Manager should meet all key functions of the RN role and assume 24 hour management accountability for the overall direction and coordination of resources to ensure comprehensive patient/resident care and quality service to all customers based on the core values of Levindale, while responsible for ensuring safe, age-appropriate patient/resident care is provided.
Levindale is a 330-licensed bed facility located in Baltimore that offers a full continuum of post-acute services to help patients regain function and vitality after a life-altering illness or injury.
