Contact Center Representative - Outbound initiates calls to current and potential customers to sell and upsell products and services. Uses standard scripts and procedures to promote products and services. Being a Contact Center Representative - Outbound processes orders and documents customer requests, interactions, outcomes, and feedback in the system. May make follow up calls to confirm details of orders or provide additional information. Additionally, Contact Center Representative - Outbound requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contact Center Representative - Outbound works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Major Duties:
Provides member services as opening new accounts, transfer funds, wire transfers, order checks, corrections, etc. Cross-sells CU products and services and handles tickets and chats. Responds to questions and/or provides information upon request from members (internal and external). Processes requests/transactions, as appropriate. Assists members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum two (2) years’ experience in member service, operation and/or lending. Demonstrated knowledge of CU products, services, policies, and procedures. Previous telephone sales and customer service experience. Excellent oral, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Must possess a strong service orientation. Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment. PC proficient including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet. Extensive telephone work involved.
Salary and Benefits:
