About Us:

Aptiva Health is a rapidly expanding multi-specialty group with locations throughout Kentucky. We are currently looking to hire a full time Cash Poster for our Louisville office to assist our RCM Department. We are in search of a highly motivated individual to fill this position and begin training immediately.

Job Summary:

Our organization is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Payment Poster. The Payment Poster will be responsible for assisting the revenue cycle management department, as well as the practice manager. If you have experience in a cash poster or medical billing role at a medical practice, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare internal mail/deliveries.
• Accept payments and process billing statements- including EFTs, Vpays, and checks.

• Process recoupments and overpayment recovery letters.
• Process forwarding balance remits.
• Assist with maintaining state and federal requirements for medical clinic operations.
• Data entry for billing department
• Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records, keeping patient information confidential.

• Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in medical office setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to read and comprehend remittance advices from Health Insurnace Companies.
• Medical office billing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
