Title of the Position: Consumer Credit Servicing Representative

Schedule: 8-hour shift, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, No weekends

Excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service representative at our law firm in Overland Park, KS. In this role, you will be working directly with consumers to meet their needs.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to create memorable experiences.

• Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment for repayment of debts

• Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts

• Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations

• Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone, also talk with customers at payment window

• Miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and drafting letters

• Perform skip tracing to locate assets and consumers

• Negotiate re-payment with consumers by form of payment in full, settlements and/or payment arrangements and ensure a positive resolution and client satisfaction

Qualifications

• Two years of collection and skip trace experience preferred, but not required.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, active listening, and complex problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced, goal-oriented team environment while ensuring compliance with all company, client, state, and federal regulations

• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Strict attention to detail and the ability to multi task and effectively prioritize work load

• Maintain calm demeanor when confronted with difficult situations

• Demonstrated proficiency with computer equipment and systems including MS Office

• Candidates will be required to undergo a background check and drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
