Position Description:

The Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist receives emails, facsimiles and phone calls and assists members with a wide variety of concerns. Provides the highest level of quality member service. Provides Loan Servicing for Mortgage loan products post loan origination/closing.

Specific Duties Include:

• Service the loan portfolio, including loan system setup/review for integrity of key loan data fields, processing of member requests for loan transactions, loan payoff requests, loan disbursements, billing, loan research and maintenance via all NEFCU channels. Take action on CRM Service Requests, workflows, and emails. Create/update procedures. Reduce risk to the Credit Union by ensuring member satisfaction.
• Review various loan system reports and perform system maintenance as necessary.
• Establish, track and monitor loans for proper disbursement of escrowed and delinquent property taxes, hazard and flood insurances. Participate in early escrow analysis requests and annual escrow analysis process.
• Perform all phases of insurance plan servicing: Hazard, private mortgage (PMI) and flood, to include activations, disbursements force-placements and cancellations.
• Perform system software regression and defect testing for system upgrades. Conduct specific tests to examine system tools from end-user perspective.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• A high school degree or equivalent.
