Consumer Loan Collector contacts customers who are delinquent in the repayment of their loans and obtains payments, commitment agreements or establishes a repayment plan. Follows set policies and procedures when determining suitable collection solution. Being a Consumer Loan Collector requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Consumer Loan Collector may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. CorTech is currently recruiting for a Mortgage Loan Collector in Richmond, Virginia. This role is primarily responsible for payment collection on early-stage delinquent accounts (1-2 months past due).
Duties:
- Take inbound and outbound calls to mortgage borrowers in reference to their account.
- Retrieve finance data from borrowers to determine payment options.
- Accurately document and maintain incoming and outgoing effords to collect the debt.
- Provide excellent customer service to borrowers.
- Address concerns presented by borrowers regarding collections on their accounts.
- Process phone payments,
- Negotiate/offer repayment plans.
- Discuss loss mitigation
- Offer COVID related forbearance to eligible borrowers
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 12:30pm - 9:00pm
Friday 11:30am - 8:00pm
2 Saturday a month: 9:00am - 1:00pm (required)
