Consumer Loan Collector contacts customers who are delinquent in the repayment of their loans and obtains payments, commitment agreements or establishes a repayment plan. Follows set policies and procedures when determining suitable collection solution. Being a Consumer Loan Collector requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Consumer Loan Collector may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our Consumer Loan Processors eagerly assists members with credit card, auto, RV and home equity loans.
Location, Schedule Availability & Salary Information
• South Ogden, Utah
• Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• $17.50 per hour, based on experience and performance Bonus Incentive
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships.
• Provide consistent member follow-up.
• Process inbound consumer loan applications.
• Pair corresponding credit union products and services with members’ financial needs.
• Comply with all regulations as required by law.
• Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.
Experience, Education & Certification
• High school diploma required
• 1-2 years consumer lending experience is preferred.
