POSITION PURPOSE
Mississippi Federal Credit Union is looking for a qualified and talented individual to join the Lending and Collections team. The ideal candidate for this position is motivated, agile, service focused, thrives in a dynamic team environment, an effective listener and communicator, detail oriented, and able to trouble shoot effectively. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Lending and Collections staff in a variety of vital areas. Must have a strong working knowledge of MSFCU operations, products, services, and programs. Responsible for following existing policies, procedures, and systems involving the operations and functions of their department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Input applications for loans
2. Obtain necessary information from member regarding loan applications
3. Process title applications for secured loans
4. Follow MSFCU policies and procedures at all times
5. Follow objectives to achieve company and department goals
6. Solve problems accurately and efficiently
7. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all actions taken as required by law, regulation, and company policies and procedures
8. Represent MSFCU in a professional manner in all interactions with MSFCU members
9. Maintain confidentiality of member, employee, and company information
10. Collect on delinquent loans and accounts
11. Scan documents into imaging system
12. Work with members in branch when they have financial hardships
13. Provide prompt, excellent service, and accurate transactions
14. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of, and adheres to, the requirements of all related policies, procedures, rules and regulations required for position
15. Model a high level of service and a professional demeanor and appearance
16. Collaborate with their assigned team and Management to achieve goals
17. Participate in MSFCU sponsored community outreach events
18. Responsible for regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
19. Attend and participate in meetings and training as required
20. Appropriately informs management of area activities
21. Establish and maintain professional business relations with all MSFCU employees
22. Assume responsibility for other duties as required or assigned
23. Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
24. Must be able to communicate effectively with the public
