COMMERCIAL LENDING ASSISTANT
Position Summary:
Responsible for creating better lives and futures for the people and communities that we proudly serve. Serves and assists the Commercial Loan Department with collecting and processing customers’ financial information. Assist all Commercial Loan Officers with loan document preparation as well as serving customers in person and over the phone with payoffs, payments, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct yourself according to The UNIFIED WAY.
2. Responsible for preparation of loan documents for all commercial lenders.
3. Ensure that all loan documents are accurate and in compliance with all internal policies as well as state and federal regulations.
4. Provide oversight for commercial loan renewals.
5. Work with attorneys, appraisers and other third parties on a regular basis to aid and streamline the loan process.
6. Provide internal support for Commercial Lenders and their clients.
7. Assist Commercial Lenders with new and existing client correspondence.
8. Will order credit reports, flood certifications, and check Secretary of State websites for company information and UCC searches.
9. Create new loan files for all new customers and/or loans.
10. Process customer loan payments.
11. Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
12. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Lending Regulations, Deposit Regulations, etc.
13. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place. 14. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Associates Degree in Business/Finance or combination of experience and skills
2. Knowledge of Commercial Loans and the Loan Booking Process
3. Familiarity with the Laser Pro loan operation system
4. Experience with Microsoft Office
