Consumer Credit Supervisor supervises underwriting operations and oversees the loan application review process to determine loan eligibility and terms. Duties: Develop and execute new and update existing risk controls to ensure all portfolio line management strategies are compliant with bank policy and regulatory requirements. Identify and produce impact and root cause analysis on control exceptions or strategy defects, document issues, and suggest solutions. Collaborate with the risk strategy teams and all levels within the organization to validate and ensure strategy implementations are properly executed. Track performance of credit card portfolio strategies. Prepare comprehensive analyses on ad-hoc risk data requests. Perform ad-hoc strategy targeting for manual execution for portfolio risk strategies. Provide analytical support to corrections and disaster relief. Assemble data quality and lineage reports to ensure data consumed in high risk strategies is valid and accurate. Produce summary dashboards shared in monthly business review meetings with senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Consumer Credit Risk, Portfolio Risk, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in job offered or as Consumer Credit Risk, Portfolio Risk, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: SAS; SQL; UNIX; Hadoop; TSYS; Oracle; Teradata; Data mining and statistical analyses for segmentation; Build control reporting for risk related strategies; Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Powerpoint; and Risk strategies and procedures.
