Job Summary:
Chloeta is seeking a part time Special Education Consultant for service in a school facility in Flandreau, South Dakota for 12 days per month for the school year.

Job Classification: Part Time

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee individual education plans.
• Assist in enforcing policy and procedures.
• Make Program recommendations.
• Arrange for transportation for students with disabilities.
• Arrange for residential placement for students with disabilities.
• Inventory all equipment.
• Coordinate speech, psychological and other services needed for students with disabilities.
• Assist in completing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) when needed.

Education and Experience:

• Required: Master's Degree in School Administration from accredited university.
• Required: Certification in teaching in the State of South Dakota.
• Required: Five (5) years of experience
• License verification, education, and certifications must be provided at the time of application and can be emailed to certification@chloeta.com.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to withstand physical and emotional stress.
• Must be able to stand and move for long periods of time.
• Able to frequently lift at least 50 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• At the time of hire, must provide a fitness for duty certificate issued by a licensed physician to perform the proposed job without significant risk to personal health or the health and safety of others.
• At the time of hire, must provide documentation of evidence of immunizations as required by the facility's immunization policy.

Pre-employment Requirements:
This position may be contingent upon passing a security clearance, criminal background check, drug screen, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, education verification, employment verification, and/or credit check after acceptance of an offer and prior to beginning work, due to the nature of the services Chloeta provides and the responsibilities of this position.

Drug and Alcohol Testing:
To enforce Chloeta’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy, an employee or candidate could be subject to undergoing a drug screen and/or alcohol testing at the beginning of employment, as well as after commencement of employment where there is reasonable suspicion of intoxication, or following an automobile or other accident, or as part of a company or facility-wide random drug screen process.

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA):
Under the FCRA, Chloeta may request a credit check during the onboarding process. A written authorization form will be required before obtaining credit records.
