Next 150 Construction is seeking a Senior Payroll Practitioner, under broad supervision, will elaborate calculations for weekly and bimonthly payrolls through controlling the statistics that affect employee compensation, also calculate extra time payment, disabilities, termination payments, accounting conciliation, and request checks.     Responsibilities

    • Perform Payroll Practitioner II duties for certain designated business units.
    • Perform all steps in CMIC required to complete the payroll process
    • Review and approve MSS transactions
    • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
    • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
    • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Associates degree in Business/Accounting preferred
    • 5 or more years relevant experience
    • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    For Providence, RI this ranges from $59,000.00 -$75,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
