    AIS Positioning Solutions is a division of AIS Construction Equipment that provides technology sales, service, support & training for many industries including construction, survey, agriculture, and concrete construction. We are looking for a Sales Representative to cover the state of Michigan in this new position. This person will be responsible for selling and supporting a full line of survey instruments, building layout tools, and software to end users.

    Responsibilities

    • Build, maintain, and grow AIS survey business within the sales territory through means such as customer entertainment, sales calls, proposals, demonstrations, manufacture leads, and customer referrals
    • Advise new and existing clients on new solutions that AIS offers to help their business
    • Identify needs of customer and what products best fit their needs/application
    • Sell equipment such as GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, data collectors, software, tools & accessories
    • Conduct sales calls and closing sales to end users
    • Make sales calls and in-person visits to construction job sites and customer offices
    • Demonstrate equipment in office or on site as needed
    • Provide assistance and support on technical questions
    • Schedule and provide training after a product is sold or rented
    • Process all necessary paperwork before and after sale of products
    • Attend trade shows, chapter meetings, and other events to maintain relationships and obtain new opportunities
    • Meet or exceed sales goals within territory on a quarterly and annual basis

    Requirements:

    • 18 years of age or older with a valid drivers license
    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
    • High school diploma or GED (degree from technical institution preferred)
    • Sales background or experience selling end user products
    • Experience with survey or related equipment required
    • Ability to create and deliver effective and accurate sales and service presentations
    • Strong planning, personal organization, time management and problem solving skills
    • Strong computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft office applications and Windows-based software required
    • Positive attitude and personal accountability for delivering results, with the desire and willingness to continually learn and grow

    $50k base salary uncapped commission company vehicle/gas card and cell phone
