PROJECT MANAGER

Rent Ready Construction Services provides turnkey and custom Multi-Family renovation and capital improvement services (CapEx) in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.

We are seeking a Project Manager with a “get it done” attitude to join our team. Current projects are located in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church, Reston and Washington DC.

Summary

To provide onsite management for all phases of Multi-Family construction projects, including coordinating employees, subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding with quality, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily construction operations across multiple job sites/projects
• Track and control construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects on time and on budget
• Take overall site management and team leadership
• Responsibility for supervising all on-site trades and personnel
• Run weekly safety meetings with all trades
• Communication of the ongoing evolution of the project, change orders, milestones, and reports
• Project changes in scope and revenue
• Work with Project Manager to ensure submittals and clarification answers are kept current and documented
• Manage day to day client interactions and expectations, directly or in a supervisory role
• Site Management & Coordination
• Maintain Construction Management Software
• Creation of daily reports and pictorial documenting progress and issues

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of construction management experience in a field supervisory role
• Working knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc.
• OSHA 10 Certification at a minimum (higher level certification is a plus)
• Bilingual English and Spanish is required for success in the role
• Demonstrated ability to direct the work of others including subcontractors and suppliers

• Experience with Construction Management Software is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to report promptly, accurately and clearly to a remote Supervisor
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Verifiable references

Compensation

• Salary based on experience
• The successful Project Manager will receive raises based on contribution to the company, not length of service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
