Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects across all phases of construction, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This leadership position involves direct supervision of teams, coordination of subcontractors, and effective communication with all project stakeholders.

Schedule: 4x10s - Four 10-Hour Shifts per Week

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise construction teams across various sites, ensuring all members adhere to safety standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure work is done accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and tools.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Manage subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and schedules.
• Implement quality control measures and address any issues or discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate team meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns.
• Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction management or a supervisory role in construction.
• Valid Alaska (AK) driver's license.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in all construction phases.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Resume reflecting relevant experience.
• Two professional references required: one from a previous supervisor and one from a colleague.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
