Our cable company is looking for an energetic individual who can follow precise instructions to safely and efficiently complete all coax cable wiring. In addition to completing cable wiring, We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to become an integral part of our growing team.
Looking to hire 1099 Contractors for Cox Communication to work in & Fayetteville AR and surrounding areas. Experience is required Or Similar
Pay ranges between $700-$1300 weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems for residential and commercial customers
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve cable-related issues
- Connect and configure equipment such as telephones, routers, and computers
- Perform network installations and ensure proper connectivity
- Conduct fiber splicing and termination as needed
- Test cable systems to ensure optimal performance and signal quality
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on customer premises
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of telephone and cable systems
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and computer networking
- Mechanical knowledge for handling cable installation and maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools for cable terminations and connections
- Experience as a service technician in the telecommunications industry is preferred
- Understanding of Ethernet and fiber optic technology
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
